The PowerTechware™ C-GGRS (Gigabit Game Router servers) is a combination of multimillion packets-per-second (pps) IP routing platform with a multi-server platform under a single operating system, on a single hardware platform and in a single physical package for achieving performance, reliability, availability, security and cost effectiveness specific to the “game” industry.

This is equivalent to putting an entire network of a router and multiple game servers into a single chassis. The communications link between the routers and the servers is no more a LAN network of 100Mbps or 1Gbps but a system bus of the processor main board at 30Gbps to 60Gbps. Performance increases tremendously. As multiple servers are replaced by a single hardware platform designed for reliability and availability, the cost of ownership and the cost of operation go down drastically. As many multi-user games are hosted internationally and are operated by local game operators, security and control is a major concern with game owners or licensors.
